At Concordia Bilingual School, we encourage participation in sports and appreciate the values they teach. In fact, these values – helping others, endurance, pushing one’s boundaries and respect – are at the very heart of our educational programme.
Sports also contribute to the well-balanced and harmonious development of the child.
For the youngest students, exposure to sports helps with cerebral and cognitive development, with gaining autonomy and with sociability.
From six years old, the children learn:
- to develop flexibility and accuracy through such disciplines as judo, tennis, gymnastics and dance;
- to expend significant effort, such as through swimming, running and cycling;
- greater sociability, such as through team sports.
Students at Concordia Bilingual School will take part in sports activities between 4 and 5 hours per week from CP.
