Safeguarding and Student Wellbeing

Safeguarding.

An institutional responsibility.

At Concordia School Paris, child protection is an absolute priority and a shared responsibility across the whole educational community.

We are committed to providing a safe, structured and respectful environment in which every child can grow with confidence and peace of mind. Safeguarding is fully embedded in the culture of the school and rests on clear procedures, daily vigilance and a team specifically trained in child protection and wellbeing.

Our Principles

Four foundational pillars.

01

A trained team

A team specifically trained in the prevention, identification and follow-up of safeguarding concerns.

02

Shared vigilance

Child protection relies on a collective responsibility involving all adults in the school.

03

The best interests of the child

Every decision is made with respect for the safety, wellbeing and best interests of the child.

04

Policies regularly reviewed

Our procedures and systems are regularly reviewed to ensure their effectiveness and compliance.

A Collective Responsibility

A clear and rigorous framework.

Child protection involves all adults working within the school.

Any situation that may affect a child’s safety or wellbeing is subject to rigorous follow-up, in accordance with the school’s internal procedures and the French regulatory framework.

In all circumstances, the best interests of the child come first.

« The College and its staff are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people under our care. »
