1. Mission Statement

Concordia School Paris provides a rigorous, forward-thinking bilingual education that nurtures academically excellent, confident, kind, and globally-minded leaders who contribute positively to society.

At Concordia Middle School, we aim for the highest standards of academic achievement in a rigorous, innovative, and completely bilingual environment that prepares students for both French and international pathways. Academic excellence is essential, but education at Concordia goes further: we believe that the development of personality, character, and values is just as vital to success in life.

Concordia School Paris's mission is also to develop the whole child — intellectually, socially, emotionally, ethically, and as a member of their global community — whilst encouraging creativity, risk-taking, and independence to enable students to meet the demands of an ever-changing world.

2. School Values

Our Values express the principles and character we want every child to develop to help them grow as individuals, ready to face the challenges of the future. To make these values accessible in daily life, we have translated them into Five Golden Rules, simple guidelines that every student can remember and live by.

Together, our Values and Golden Rules ensure that Concordia students aim high academically, flourish personally, and grow into respectful, confident, and engaged citizens.

• I will never give up on myself, my teammates or our mission.
• I will take pride in every piece of work I produce.

Achieve Together

• I achieve my best when we are a team.
• I will work with others to build on each other's strengths and work together to be better.
• I will collaborate with my schoolmates to problem-solve.
• I will ask for help if I do not understand.

Be Kind & Respectful

• I will be a good friend and help others if they need it.
• I will use kind words with others, even when I am upset.
• I will say Good Morning or Good Afternoon to my teachers, using their name.
• I will remember my table manners.
• I will listen to others.
• I will take care of my and others' belongings.
• I will walk sensibly inside the school and on the way to the stadium or an outing.
• I will wear my uniform with pride.
• I will clean up my mess, whether in the courtyard, the classroom or the lunchroom.

Lead the Way

• I will be a positive role model in all that I do.
• I will be prepared to stand up for what I believe to be right, and to challenge what I know to be wrong.
• I will lead by example, stand up for others and speak my mind.
