The Concordia Experience.
Un lieu de vie dynamique et stimulant.
At Concordia School Paris, we believe that education is not built in the classroom alone. It also grows through lived experiences, collective projects, trips, artistic productions, debates, encounters, and the responsibilities entrusted to our students throughout their school journey.
The Concordia Experience is built on a broad educational approach, in which the arts, sport, trips, public speaking, House Life, events, and community life all contribute to the intellectual and personal development of our students.
Over the years, students learn to create, collaborate, debate, take initiative, and move with confidence in a variety of stimulating environments.
At Concordia, we do more than pass on knowledge: we shape character, personality and confidence. Through the Houses, sport, the performing arts, and Assemblies, our culture helps young people grow into curious, engaged students, ready to take their place in the world.

Performing Arts — learning to create and express.
Think. Speak. Perform.
At Concordia, drama, music, and oral expression play a central role. We see speech as an intellectual tool as much as a means of expression: learning to structure one’s thoughts, defend an idea, persuade, and develop presence.
This culture of public speaking runs throughout school life: theatre productions, concerts, poetry competitions, debates, public speaking opportunities, and Model United Nations conferences.
Collective artistic projects also develop creativity, confidence, engagement and collective intelligence through demanding and formative experiences.
- Annual theatre productions
- Partnership with LAMDA — London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art
- Concerts and musical performances
- Debates, public speaking competitions and oral presentations
- Developing oracy and confidence in public speaking
Sport and outdoor education at the heart of the journey.
Commitment. Resilience. Team Spirit.
At Concordia, sport is a full part of education.
Football, basketball, hockey, swimming, squash, athletics, dance, and climbing help students develop commitment, perseverance, team spirit, and a desire to push their limits.
Thanks to the many sports facilities located close to the school, students benefit from a range of stimulating environments: the Stade Jean-Pierre Wimille, the Stade de la Muette, the Coubertin facilities, and the squash courts on rue Lauriston are part of everyday life at Concordia.
Trips and outdoor experiences also play an important role in the students’ education. Camps, sports stays, hikes, mountain trips, and time spent in open natural spaces help develop independence, resilience, and confidence.

Trips, lectures and international perspectives.
Curiosity. Dialogue. Perspective.
Cultural curiosity and international awareness are an integral part of Concordia’s identity. Paris is also an exceptional daily learning environment — museums, theatres, and institutions naturally extend the classroom.
In the secondary years, Back to Nature trips in the mountains and outdoors develop independence and resilience. From 3ème (Year 10) onwards, students may take part in the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, a respected British programme which recognises personal effort, service, adventure, and sustained commitment to a chosen activity.
London, Iceland, Switzerland, Verdun, international conferences, Model United Nations: these experiences nurture curiosity and a deeper understanding of the contemporary world.

A strong culture of community life.
Belonging. Participation. Responsibility.
Concordia is built on a strong sense of community.
Our Secondary students belong to one of the school’s four Houses — Aquila, Aurora, Civitas and Sapienta — which shape community life throughout the year through projects, challenges, events, and inter-House competitions.
The Houses foster teamwork, commitment, mentoring between students of different ages, and a strong sense of belonging to a wider community.
Assemblies, cultural events, celebrations, charitable projects, and student-led initiatives also help create a lively, warm, and collective atmosphere.

Bien-être, équilibre et compétences humaines.
Respect. Empathy. Balance.
At Concordia, we believe that educational success cannot be separated from the quality of human relationships, personal balance, and the development of social and emotional skills.
The PSHE programme — Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education — plays an important role in school life.
Through guided discussions, assemblies, collective projects and specialist sessions, students progressively develop empathy, responsibility, emotional intelligence, critical thinking and a sense of engagement.
We aim to provide an environment in which every student can grow with confidence, feel recognised, and develop their full intellectual, personal, and relational potential.

An engaged educational community.
Families. School. Shared Purpose.
Concordia is also supported by a community of families who are deeply engaged in the life of the school.
Meetings, educational conferences, curriculum presentations, cultural events, Parent Breakfasts, and regular opportunities for exchange help build a close and constructive relationship between families and the educational team.
We see this relationship of trust as a strength: an engaged community united around a shared educational ambition and the development of our students.
