TWO NATIONAL CURRICULA
Our preschool, primary school and middle school programmes have been designed to meet the standards of both the Education Nationale Française and the English National Curriculum in a bicultural and forward-thinking environment. Our aim is for each child to achieve a solid basis in the fundamentals of English, French and Mathematics so that they are able to work with equal ease in English and French.
We also devote considerable time to instructing on learning methods, public speaking, and teamwork, which are central to the curriculum.
Thanks to the small size of our classes, personalised academic programmes are created for each child so as to be best adapted to the child’s rhythm.
BILINGUAL AND
BICULTURAL
We practice bilingualism by immersion. Class lessons are taught 50% of the time in English to provide a true immersion in the language. The classes are structured so that two days per week are in English, two in French and one half-day is split between French and English.
All subjects are taught in both languages by native speakers.
Additional French language support and immersion classes will be offered to children whose mother tongue is not French. All children are expected to be proficient in both languages by the end of elementary school.
SOFT SKILLS
Children today need to acquire soft skills that are essential to evolve in a multicultural, open, and ever-changing world.
We want our pupils to be enthusiastic and responsible players in life, eager to take on challenges, to engage in new projects, and to fully immerse themselves in their ventures.
Our teachers encourage the pupils to develop their curiosity, to reason, to debate, to think "outside the box," and they work with the children to help them transform their ideas into action.
Our lessons integrate oral expression and teamwork, which are key elements in our educational programme.
